"Half my brothers got accused before they got asked. So I clap back with a guitar, a candle, and a coyote. El que aguanta, se lo lleva todo."

Quién soy yo
Tommy Wayne aka The Tex-Mex Coyote — they call me Tee Dawg, but you can call me El Coyote. I'm a borderlands country artist out of Corpus Christi, Texas — born in New Mexico, raised between San Antonio and the gulf, building a sound I call Coyote Country: country foundation, norteño backbone, Spanish in the chorus, real story in the verse.
By day I'm a VDC/BIM designer working on hyper-scale data centers — blueprints in the morning, boots by night. By weekend I'm at the gulf with a rod in one hand and a song in my throat. This debut is what comes out when both of those lives finally start singing the same key.
This album is for the people who made me, the people who waited for me, and the people who are about to find me. Cuando suba, suben todos.
This debut album is for my Mama and my Pops — the two who built me, kept me alive, and never quit on me. For my step-mom, my brothers Tyler, Jesmael, Noel, Christopher, and Cody, my sister Ashlynn, my grandpa and grandma I am blessed to know in the flesh, and the grandfather and grandmother I never met — and the rest of mi Familia. For the Phillips men who taught me music — three generations of hands that figured shit out. And for my abuelo, who came to me in a dream and told me to get the shit done.
When I rise, we ALL rise. For the good causes
